IOM promotes a holistic immigration and border management approach for the Government of Iraq, by strengthening the capacities of key government agencies, such as the Border Points Commission (BPC) within the Ministry of Interior to facilitate regular migration while trying to reduce unsafe, irregular migrant flows.
